Mary has been a waitress, arts administrator, grant writer, stage hand, choreographer, choir director, ski instructor and professional dancer. She is a teacher, community organizer, wilderness guide, naturalist, leader of ceremonies, singer and an avid ice hockey player.
She holds several professional coaching certifications. Her extensive background in communication, facilitation, mediation and leadership combined with her down to earth enjoyment of life make her a catalyst for deep and lasting change in her clients. She makes her home in a cabin high in the mountains of Colorado, with her husband of 22 years, and their son.
With her collaborative partner, fellow coach and mom Susan Guiher, she has created Success Circle Coaching and their new book Stop Spinning Plates: How to Lose Your Balance and Become a Thriving Mother. Guiher founded Clear Path Coaching and Consulting in 1999
to connect her desire to remain home with her infant son with her
passion for inspiring individuals and organizations to achieve their
goals. Since 1999, she has combined motherhood and her entrepreneurial
spirit in a blend that inspires and entices her, her family (husband
and three children Matthew, Christopher and Meghan) and her clients
to thrive.
Sue is a personal and business results coach, trainer, facilitator,
speaker, author and avid lover of the outdoors. She brings to her
coaching over 20 years of experience in different areas of leadership
and business development, clinical programming and implementation,
communications, education and sales. Sue has held positions as Clinical
Director, Director of Operations, Program Manager, Corporate Trainer,
Communication Specialist and internal coach working on a Change
Management team
Sue is presently on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia
Area Coaches Alliance. Sue is a graduate of Ithaca College, receiving
dual Master Degrees in Speech Pathology and Audiology with minors
in Psychology and Business. She is recognized by the International
Association of Coaching and holds their Certified Coach designation.
